Heritage Schools Programme

Auriel, from The Heritage Council of Ireland kindly ran a workshop with 1st&2nd class on Monday 3rd of November. The programme focused on the theme of ‘Samhain’. The children discussed the heritage sites in their local area of Islandeady, learned about the celts and what they brought to Ireland and to end the day made beautiful arts and crafts from leaves and other natural supplies.
